During my time as an intern, I had the privilege of learning the skill of project management. When the idea for the internship came up, I was initially confused about what my partner and I would do. However, we were made aware that we needed to come up with an environmental problem to solve, which led to the birth of Project Ecosense. We were coached, not spoon-fed, to carry out the project as we saw fit. We had to create a project plan, assemble a team, and lead them. Additionally, we had to liaise with school authorities to execute the project and, finally, raise funds to support it. From what I have mentioned, you will realize that our skill set has been enhanced. This includes planning, teamwork, the ability to sell an idea and recruit others to join, fundraising, and maintaining cordial interactions with stakeholders. Furthermore, we improved our public speaking skills and, most importantly, our leadership skills.
